Our Venning Road Center
Children’s Discovery Center’s Venning Road location is located off U.S. Highway 17, with easy access to and from I 526. Our 12,000 square foot childcare center offers benefits unmatched by any other Charleston-area childcare provider, with museum-quality exhibits, a Lowcountry-themed discovery room and state-of-the-art security and technology. The first of its kind in the area and one of few childcare centers in the Lowcountry to offer the award-winning, Reggio Emilia educational model. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The care they show for our kids is second to none. All three of my girls have gone to this daycare and loved it. They learn, explore, nap, stay well fed, and enjoy their many activities. Great school!

The staff. Consistent and skilled staffing is critical and CDC admin has done a phenomenal job in a tight labor market. Trying to ensure CDC has both. Please continue to support them in a highly competitive market. Continued investment and the facilities to ensure as the building ages, it is a clean, comfortable environment that promotes learning and play outside.

We are new to Children's Discovery Center and it seems to be an amazing preschool. I appreciate the utilization of the procare app with activities, photos and videos to keep me updated on how my child is doing. I appreciate the incorporation of Christian faith in my child's education and meal times. I appreciate the safety of the school using coded entry. And I appreciate the constant availability of admin staff at the front desk and front office.
